As I said in a previous post, Anchorage is surrounded on three sides by the Cook Inlet. On the south side of Anchorage the Cook Inlet forks inland and becomes the Turnagain Arm. The Seward Highway follows the arm and is one of the most beautiful drives you can take. The Chugach Mountains shoot up out of the Arm and create this amazingly stunning view that is hard to beat. If you make the drive and are lucky enough to have a clear or semi-clear day you will be blessed with a stunning view.
