As I said before Valdez is a place that seems to be “alive” wherever you turn. One little creature you find in abundance there are rabbits. We saw them anywhere there was grass to eat. The ones pictured below were down by the docks munching while the rest of us processed our fish. In one yard we counted as many as 15 of them hanging out. Snowshoe Hares are common to Alaska but those are usually a grey color so I don’t think these particular cuties belong to that family, although I may be wrong.
